A few months later, on April 16, 1948, the National Cadet Corps was established, which at that time only 20,000 students were involved, but now at present time this amount has increased to a total of 1.3 million. And still the number of candidates in this institution keeps increasing. The 12th meeting of the Central Advisory Meeting (CAD) was held in October 1980, in which ‘unity and discipline’ was chosen and declared as the motto for the NCC.
To join NCC, first of all you have to know that your school, college and university have NCC. After that you will be physically tested. After physically passing the test, you will be joining NCC.
Benefits of NCC
Candidates joining NCC are awarded three certificates. “A”, “B”, “C” are the three certificates NCC cadets receive. The rules for entering these three certificates also vary.Students receiving ‘C’ certificate from NCC have easy access to various government jobs apart from army, paramilitary forces. After getting the C certificate, the candidates get 10% marks in the Soldier GD category and in Soldier Tech. At the same time, it also has an advantage in the appointment of Navy and Airforce. 5 points in Air Force, 10 points in BSF.
